Use a pastry brush to grease the bottom and sides of an 11 x 7-inch baking dish

Preheat your oven and butter a baking dish with melted butter. Be generous!

Once your peaches are peeled, unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface. Roll one piece of peach up in each crescent.

Whisk together a brown sugar and aromatic spiced rum mixture and pour over the dumplings. Top off with lemon-lime soda. Yup, you read it right!

Sprinkle cinnamon over the tops of the dumplings and place into a hot oven.

BAKE! Bake until the tops are golden brown, and the sauce is bubbling.

Remove the pan from your oven and allow to stand a full 5 minutes.

Plate each dumpling, spoon with sauce, and savor that lovely sugar crisp top!
