Easy Peach Crescent Roll Dumpling Recipe

Sometimes, odd combinations of ingredients make for THE BEST dishes, kind of like this Easy Crescent Roll Peach Dumpling recipe!

Fresh peaches are quartered and rolled in refrigerated crescent roll dough before being topped with a rum and brown sugar glaze.

You'll begin with two very ripe, fresh peaches. From these, you will yield eight dumplings and an AMAZING sauce.

Ingredients

Use a pastry brush to grease the bottom and sides of an 11 x 7-inch baking dish

Preheat your oven and butter a baking dish with melted butter. Be generous! 

Once your peaches are peeled, unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface. Roll one piece of peach up in each crescent.

Whisk together a brown sugar and aromatic spiced rum mixture and pour over the dumplings. Top off with lemon-lime soda. Yup, you read it right!

Sprinkle cinnamon over the tops of the dumplings and place into a hot oven.

BAKE! Bake until the tops are golden brown, and the sauce is bubbling.

Remove the pan from your oven and allow to stand a full 5 minutes.

Plate each dumpling, spoon with sauce, and savor that lovely sugar crisp top!
