  • 4 large cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil and additional for drizzling
  • 1 cup walnut halves lightly toasted
  • 12 ounces feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves and (trimmed) stems
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • black pepper freshly ground


  • In a 350°F oven, toast the walnuts until the oils begin to give off an aroma, about 12 minutes. Be sure to toss the walnuts FREQUENTLY while toasting, being careful not to burn. Alternatively, this method can be performed in a non-stick skillet on the stove top.
  • Next combine the walnuts, the crumbled feta, milk, oregano, parsley, black pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic cloves in a food processor and pulse until very smooth.
  • Scrape the dip into the serving dish using a rubber spatula.
  • Drizzle dip with quality olive oil and serve.


Make Ahead:
Whipped Feta Dip may be made up to 2 days ahead and be kept refrigerated in an airtight container until ready to use. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before serving and stir well.
