Honey Mustamaise

This EASY Five-Ingredient, Honey Mustamaise recipe is the perfect sauce for dipping and as a salad dressing or condiment for sandwiches. It's tangy, sweet, the tiniest bit zippy, and can be made in 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • cup Dijon mustard (or whole grain mustard or a combination of both!)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ to ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Whisk all ingredients in a small mixing bowl or glass measuring cup.
  • Using the back of a spoon to gauge consistency, if you desire a thicker base for use as a baste or spread, add additional mayonnaise and mustard. If you desire a thinner base to use as a salad dressing or glaze, increase the white vinegar.
  • Taste as you go and adjust accordingly.
